What to expect
A reply within one business day. A short call to scope the problem. A plain estimate - no decks, no sales script.
How we price it
Fixed scope
Well-defined work with a clear endpoint and a budget that needs certainty.
Time & materials
Evolving products where scope moves and you want to steer week to week.
Retainer
Ongoing build, maintenance, and a reserved team you can call on.
Before you ask
Questions, answered plainly.
How do you price an engagement?+
Three models: fixed-price for well-scoped projects, time-and-materials for evolving work, and a monthly retainer for ongoing build and maintenance. We recommend the one that fits the work and tell you when fixed-price would cost you more than it saves.
Who owns the IP?+
You do. Code, designs, models, and infrastructure are yours from the first commit, assigned in writing. We keep nothing and reuse nothing without your consent.
How fast can you start?+
Most engagements begin within two weeks of a signed agreement, and many sooner. We use the gap to read your codebase and confirm scope, so the first week is real work, not onboarding.
What timezone is the team in, and how do we communicate?+
Engineering runs from Europe (CET) under a US contracting entity. That gives a full working overlap with US East and most of the US West morning, and we hold a daily standup inside it. Day-to-day runs in your channels - Slack, Linear, GitHub - not a separate portal.
Will you sign an NDA?+
Yes, before any technical conversation if you prefer. We can use yours or send ours.
What happens after launch?+
You choose: we hand off with documentation and a runbook, stay on a maintenance retainer, or scale the team down gradually. We do not hold the keys to force a retainer.
Is there a minimum engagement size?+
Our smallest engagements run about six weeks; below that we are rarely the right fit and will say so. For staff augmentation the minimum is one engineer for one month.
How does staff augmentation work?+
You get one or more of our engineers embedded in your team, working in your repo, your process, and your standups. They report to your leads, and when the contract ends the knowledge stays in your codebase.
